Statistics
Statistics You can view lots of different statistics. Not only of your players, but also of your team. The quickest way to view them is under “Team” and then “Statistics”. Select match types At the top of the statistics dashboard, there are 3 buttons that allow you to include or exclude the different match types in the calculated statistics over the selected period(s). You can make all combinations with league, cup and friendly matches. Select periods At the top right, press “select periods”. Now you can select one or more periods to base the statistics on. This selection can be changed again at any time. If you’ve only created one period, this button will not function. No statistics visible? If you haven’t assigned any players to your team selection yet, no statistics will be available for players. In this case, you’ll see a little lock. Read more about players and team selection here. First, a global overview In the statistics dashboard, you’ll immediately see some metrics showcased. The stars indicate the average team rating. The colour circle shows in relative proportion the number of matches won, drawn and lost. The percentage is based on the number of matches won in relation to the total number of matches played. Scroll down and you will see your team’s average number of goals for and against. And the recent match form: on the left the oldest and on the right the last match. In depth You can now dive deeper into statistics by choosing top scorers, assists, playing time, match events, player stats and ratings. Top scorers and assists are obvious. Playing time Here you get a clear insight into how much playing time players have had. By using the buttons at the top you can specify which match statuses are displayed in the overview: played, substitute, absent (reported), unknown (may have arisen in matches played in older versions). Switch between percentage display or in actual played minutes. In percentage view, the percentages are based on all possible playing minutes of the matches played by the team. You will also see the average playing time of your players in the line below. When a player has played a total of 155 minutes during 3 matches (of 90 minutes), the calculation becomes as follows: 155/270=57% played. This means the player has been a substitute 43% of the time. With actual playing minutes, the previous calculation is omitted and the actual minutes ‘played’ and ‘substitute’ are displayed in the bar behind the player. Absence is never shown as match status when displayed in minutes. Press “A” to rank the player list by name. When you press the clock, players will be ranked by playing time, with those with the most playing time being shown first. Match events At the top, you can instantly see the number of shots, goals, assists and it shows where the shots were placed. Scroll to see totals of type of goals and all match events. Players team statistics Here, a brief overview of some player stats is shown: number of appearances, number of cards, assists, goals and total playing minutes. Player reviews Press the player bar and you will open the statistics specifically for this player. All entries assigned to this player during matches can be viewed here in a clear overview. Team ratings The average rating over the total number of matches selected for your team. But also the average of all opponents you have rated. You can see in small text how many matches you entered a rating for. Player ratings Press individual player ratings to view the averages per player. You can also view each player’s specific attributes (Mentality, Physical, Technical skills and Tactical skills) press the player-bar and it will unfold.

Players & Team selection
Players & Team selection The difference between ‘players’ and ‘team selection’ In Coach Amigo there’s one list with all your players at your disposal. Every newly created player is added to this list. We call this list ‘players‘. Within each team you determine which players from the ‘players’ list actually belong to the team selection of that particular team. We call this list ‘team selection‘. Important: a player can be placed in multiple team selections if you wish. Switching Switch between the full player list and the team selection list by pressing the two appropriate icons at the top of the screen. The number in parentheses indicates how many players the list contains. Select the player list: then press the shirt next to a player to add it to the team selection. The shirt will show the colors of your club. Select team selection: now you can indicate which players are captain and goalkeeper. By pressing the black buttons you can determine the players’ shirt numbers. Select the players list: a red plus will now be visible at the bottom of the screen. Press it to add a new player. Tap the portrait icon to assign a photo to a player. Add a new player Press the red plus to create a player. The (nick)name is the name used in the overviews and on the competition field. Also assign one or more preferred position(s) for a player. Coach Amigo takes this into account when it automatically creates different formations. You can add a photo to a player. To do this, press the portrait icon. The photo is always visible to you, but not necessarily also to the public of the Livestreams. You can set the visibility of player photos at the Livestream options. Tip: You can start customizing a player by tapping on the player in the list. Archiving players Swipe the player info to the left and the archive button will appear To archive a player, swipe the player to the left. The archive button appears. When you archive a player, it helps to get a better overview in the player list. At the same time, the statistics of this player are preserved. Players who are archived will also be removed from the team roster. And will not be used when setting up new matches. When you have selected the archive, an overview of all archived players is shown. You can take two actions with an archived player: restore or delete it permanently.
Team page
Icons/Premium/Color Created with Sketch.
The Team Page Create a hub for your team A Premium Team will have access to the Team Page: a central place for your team with which you can keep players and fans (parents) informed about your team. They will find, for example, photos and updates you have posted, general team information and information about players and staff. But they can also go there to open the Livestream(s) of the current match and of played matches. And they will find out when the next training is. Statistics will also follow at a later stage. Set up on your desktop Setting up the Team Page is only possible on the Coach Amigo web app (https://app.coachamigo.com). You choose ‘Team’ in the menu and then ‘Team Page’. Make it visible You can make the page accessible by turning on the switch (Please note that our servers sometimes take some time to process the team page enabling or disabling.). Post a logo and a photo It is possible to post a photo that appears at the top of the page. Remember that a photo with the size 1024×512 pixels (wxh) gives the best result. You can also put a logo of your club or your team in place of the team shirt. For this, a square format (512×512 pixels) gives the best result. You can upload JPG or PNG files. Provide team information You can post general information about the team. You can also place links to other pages if you wish. Create team updates On the main page the little number in the circle indicates how many updates you’ve already published. When you open this item you can create a new update, press the red plus button in the corner. You can also specify the background color of an update. This creates a little more attention if needed. And you can always change the order of the updates. Drag them in any order. Mention the team staff Staff members can be published on the Team Page. You can enter a name and their function. You can also use the switch to decide not to show employees. Choose the right period Here you designate which period you want to display on the Team Page. All matches in this period of which the Livestream is ‘on’ (or ‘open’) are shown on the Team Page. When you close a match’ Livestream, the match will no longer be visible on the Team Page. Read more about the Livestream here. Show next match Turn this on to show when the next match is on the updates tab. The first unplayed match will be shown, make sure that the Livestream of this match is opened. Show players and portrait photos In the information tab you can choose to make team players visible and then also show their portrait photo. Make sure you have the consent of those involved if you want to do this. Show next training session In the Training module you work with training selections, choose the selection that belongs to this team. The next training of the selected training selection will be shown on the Team Page. Read more about training here (Trainer Amigo). Show matches tab You can choose to show the full match fixture that belong to the period you’ve selected. Again: only matches with Livestream ‘on’ (or open) will be shown on this tab. Ready? Now share your Team Page! When you’re ready to share the Team Page: tap the web icon at the top right of the screen. The Publicly accessible Team Page is now popping up. Copy the Team Page’ web address and share it wherever you like. On the club website, Whatsapp, Facebook or Instagram for instance. And of course you can always, as the administrator of this page, edit it by returning to the Team Page settings page.
Team settings
Team settings Prepare your recipe for every new match The settings you make here form the basis of all new matches to be set up. With how many players you play, how many match parts a match contains, your preferred formation. But also whether or not you work with the substitution management and how exactly you want to use the Livestream. Adjust the basic settings When you press the edit pencil at the top of the screen, you end up in the menu containing the basic settings of this team. You can edit the club shirt to represent the team as accurately as possible. Click on the three dots just behind the club name. Now you can search for an existing club (for now this is only a list of Dutch clubs, we’re working on lists for other countries), we do our best to add more and more associations and clubs. You can also enter any name you wish. Team number, division and relation code are optional entry fields. The relationship code is, for example, the number of the association belonging to this team. If you want to delete the team, press the delete icon at the bottom of the screen. Subs Management or no Subs Management, that is the question Switch on the substitution management if you like to work with this You can choose to play the matches with substitution management. This means that you can draw up a substitution schedule with associated formations. The substitution management will indicate during the match when you intended to have the substitution(s) take place. You can easily implement the planned substitutions. Read more about setting up switch assistance here. The Livestream: great for all the fans! When you activate the Livestream here, a Livestream will automatically be created for every new match. Of course including the preferences that you have indicated here. Read more about setting up the Livestream here. All matches in the calendar at once The calendar link offers the possibility to load the calendar of the voetbal.nl app (Dutch KNVB football association, we’re working on calendar functionality for other countries). The matches that are planned in the future will be imported. Matches that have already been played will not be imported, add these manually if you want the season to be complete. Work together by sharing the team (Premium team) A team can be shared with several coaches and assistants. Only the owner of the team can initiate the sharing. Read more about all the possibilities to share the team here. Organize all matches using periods The “periods” menu is visible on the desktop app. Here you can create new periods and edit existing periods. Read more about all the possibilities of working with periods here. Jump to another team! If you want to manage another team, you can easily switch to it. Here you’ll find all the teams that you have at your disposal. These can be teams that you own, but also teams that are shared with you. You can also create a new team here.
Managing the time during a match
Managing the time (clock) during a match Start, pause, reset, fast forward & end time. Once you have started a game, there are many things happening on the pitch that you would like to keep up with in Coach Amigo. You can easily enter events and keep track of player substitutions, for example. But in addition, a match can also be paused or maybe you pressed start too soon, before the referee has blown her whistle. After reading this explainer you will be a master of time. And you also understand when a match is really over. Starting the match time Make sure you have set up the match correctly and then open the match using the red ‘start match’ button. The match is loaded and ready to start. In the time panel at the bottom of the screen you can press the green whistle when the referee starts the match. The match clock is now running. The panel will turn red to indicate that the match has started. When there is also a Livestream of the match, the public will also see that the clock is running. Ending and starting match halves/parts End of half/game part At the bottom right of the time panel is a green button with a whistle. Below it is indicated in text whether this button initiates the end of a half/part or the end of the game. When playing a match over several halves/parts, during every halve/part except the last one, the button will give you the option to end this active halve/part. Does the referee whistle? Then you press the button. Start next half/part of the game Time has stopped running. You can now make player substitutions, update or add events on the timeline. When the referee whistles again: press ‘continue match’! End match During the last halve/part of the match, the green button will indicate that you can end the match by pressing it (under the button it now reads ‘end of match’). After pressing this button, the ‘end of match’ screen will pop up. End: Close this match! In this screen, press ‘end match’ again to actually end the match and add the collected data to the statistics. Oops, made a mistake? You can choose to go back to the match (top left ‘back’). More time management options When you now press the clock, the panel will expand. A number of options will appear: restart, pause, adjust time and end halve/part (or match). Press on the small black line at the top of the panel and drag the panel to close it. You can also minimize the panel to create more workspace. When you now press the clock, the panel will expand. A number of options will appear: restart, pause, adjust time and end halve/part (or match). Press on the small black line at the top of the panel and drag the panel to close it. You can also minimize the panel to create more workspace. Adjust playing minute After choosing this option a bar with playing minutes will appear. Swipe the minutes bar to the playing minute you want to move the time to. Press the desired playing minute. The panel will close and the playing minute will be applied. Attention: do you opt for a playing minute back in time? Then all events that took place in the deleted minutes of the match will be removed from the timeline. Pausing the match Use this when the match is paused for some reason. There are several indicators that indicate that the time is paused. Press again to continue the time. Restart the match If you choose to restart the match, the match will be reset to the settings at the start of the match. All entered events will be cleared and no statistics will be added. You will be able to start the match again.

This way they can also manage training selections or be shared with a training selection, without having purchased a Premium team themselves. More about Trainer Amigo First setup When you first enter the training sessions module, you’ll have to start with the initial setup. This means: composing a training selection and giving it a name. In the “Training Selection” screen you choose which players from your complete player list are part of this. For the sake of convenience, the app has selected the players that also belong to the squad of the currently activated team. You can add or remove players from the squad by pressing the icon.  First training session Press the red plus to create a training session Date & time After the initial setup you will see a red plus at the bottom right of the screen. With this you start setting up a training session. The first screen displays the date and time. Adjust this to your liking. Register attendance Press next (bottom right, green arrow) and you will arrive at the attendence screen. You have the option to set players on absent. In addition, you can indicate whether they are injured or whether they have not signed off with you. Remove a player from training If a player will not be part of the training for any other reason, you can remove them from this training (only for this training!). To do this, swipe left on the player and press remove. Ratings You can assign ratings during or after the training. To do this, press the star in the bottom menu. The fastest way is to directly press the stars right next to the player’s name. Ratings on multiple attributes You can fine-tune your rating by pressing the arrow on the right of the player bar. Flip the switch to enable the advanced ratings. Now you can start to value on 4 attributes: mentality, physical, technical skills and tactical skills. Press the star on the most left a number of times to turn off rating for an attribute. Next to the player (golden stars) you see the average of this training. All this data is saved to be shown in the overall statistics. AI: Expected training sessions When you have created a training session, the app will also offer an expected next training session. Training sessions will often take place on fixed days, so you can quickly create a next one with the same specifications. But you can always create a new session by pressing the red plus, with specifications to your liking. Statistics At the top of the screen you will find the button “Statistics”. Here all collected data from the training sessions is clearly presented. Use the filters on the right to sort by alphabet, rating or attendance. The injury button ensures that absence due to injury is not included (grey) or is included (blue). At the top of the screen you will find the average attendance percentage of your selection. In the green dot you can see the number of training sessions where the player was present. The red dot shows the number of times a player has not signed off from a training session. More training selections Press the training selections button for an overview of the available selections. You can remove a selection by swiping left over it. When you click on a selection you can (after pressing the pencil at the top right of the screen) adjust it. By pressing the red plus you create a new selection. You can remove a training selection by swiping left over it. Then push the remove button

Create and use periods
Create and use periods Collect matches in a convenient way When you want to start a new season or play a tournament, it is practical and easy to collect these matches in ‘periods’. You use periods to keep a clear overview and to be able to consult statistics clearly. (When you start with a new team: make a fresh start and create a new team. Read more here.) Create a period In the mobile app, go to matches and tap “Periods” in the top right of the screen. Then click on the settings icon at the bottom right of the screen (desktop: press the pencil). Now you can press the red plus at the bottom right. A new period will be created. Then enter a suitable name for this new period. Press the green check mark to save the period. Close the period view by pressing the settings icon (Mobile: bottom left – Web app: top left) and then go back to matches. Don’t forget to activate the newly created period When you press the ‘periods’ button here again, you will see that you can activate the new period. Moving matches to another period You may have some matches in the wrong period … No problem: you can always move matches to another period. Even if they have already been played. Open the match and press the pencil at the top right. Scroll down and choose “advanced options“. Then press the current period. Select the desired period to move the match to. And confirm your choice by pressing the big green check mark at the bottom. Attention! The match will no longer be visible in the period it was previously housed in. Don’t panic, you haven’t lost it. Activate the correct period and you will find the match again. Starting a new season? Update the team selection! Choose ‘players’. The team selection is still the same of course. But perhaps a player will be added in the new season or one will be left out. You can set this up properly here by creating players, adding them to the selection by pressing the shirt or removing them from the selection. Make sure you have selected the left button on at the top of the screen (players). Read more about players and your team selection here. “Under 15-3″ becomes “under 15-4” … If you don’t start with a completely new team, but the team number has changed: simply adjust it. Go to “team” and press the pencil at the top right. Now you can change the team number. Statistics more clear if you’re using periods For those who would like to be able to choose which statistics are shown in the various overviews, working with periods is a must. In the statistics menu, for example, you can select one or more periods. Super handy. Check this Coach! When you have created and activated a new period on device 1, this does not mean that it is automatically activated on device 2. So make sure that you also activate this new period on the other device. Then you should be all right. Set up a new team You set up a new team when, for example, your team is not “under 13” anymore, but “under 15”. Or when you take on an extra/different team. A new team is a completely fresh start. Below we explain how to set it up in 3 easy steps. (If you continue to coach the same team, it is best to create a new period to accommodate the new season. Read more here) 3 easy steps Step 1 Create a new team Go to ‘team’ and then choose ‘Other teams’. Then press the red plus at the bottom right of the screen. Maximum 3 Free teams If there is no Premium team in your account, you can create up to 3 teams max. If you do have a Premium team in your account, you can create a maximum of 6 teams. Please do send an email to support when this applies to you. First choose the federation under which your team is active. Now type in the club name and choose from the range of clubs that the app will offer you. Enter the team number and, if necessary, the other information. Press the green checkmark to save the team. By pressing edit beneath the team shirt you can change the colors and patterns. When working on your mobile: activate this team now. The team will be activated immediately in the desktop app. Step 2 Add players to team selection Choose “players”. You will see that no players have been added to this team’s roster yet. You can now create players and add them to the squad by pressing the shirt. Of course you can also use existing players who are in your account. Add them by pressing the shirt behind their name. Make sure you have selected the left button on at the top of the screen (players). Read more about players and your team selection here. Step 3 Setup or import matches Import matches via a calendar link (NL only) Copy and paste the calendar link at ‘team’ and then ‘calendar link’ (at the top right of the screen you can paste the link by pressing the pencil (for now only the Dutch competition is supported)). Check whether the correct period is selected. Choose sync. Setup a match But you can also manually set up new matches. Here you can read more on how to do that. Transfer Premium subscription You may have purchased Premium on the team you coached last season. Premium allows you to switch to a different team in your account once a month. To this end, a ‘do-it-yourself switch’ will soon be placed in the app. But for now you simply send an email to support. Clearly indicate on which team Premium must be removed and on which team you would like to have it applied next. Check this Coach! When you have created and activated a new period on device 1, this does not mean that it is automatically activated on device 2. So make sure that you also activate this new period on the other device. Then you should be all right. Of course, this also applies to those with whom you may have shared the team with (Premium? Read more about sharing your team here).

Attendance request center
Icons/Premium/Color Created with Sketch.
Attendance request center Ask players to report their attendance status In each match you will find the list of players on which you can indicate the attendance status of players (match attendance). If you have a Premium team, you can also use the handy tool to ask players to indicate their presence status themselves. You send them an email or a whatsapp (or via any other social) and the players can respond without needing an account. That makes the Attendance Request tool very accessible to work with, for players, team manager and coach. Let’s get going Go to ‘match attendance’ at a match. At the top of the list you will see the Attendance request tool: press the switch and the tool will be activated. Quick overview in the panel You immediately see how many players have responded and how many didn’t. Press the blue button to open the tool. Set end time and date By default, the reaction option is closed 24 hours before the start of the match. After this point, players will no longer be able to report status changes. If you want to set a different time, you can choose from “number of hours before the start of the match” or “a specific date + time”. You can switch between these different options with the buttons below the time slot. Press the blue time box to set the end time as you wish (confirm with the green check mark). By pressing ‘close now’, the tool is immediately closed for players and they can no longer indicate changes to their status. Add a message On the attendance status pages you have the option to add a message. Note: this is a message that will be displayed on both the collected team statuses page and the personalized pages. Send player(s) an email Press ’email’ and you will get the option to ask players for status updates by using e-mail. Of course you can only send e-mails to players if you’ve entered a valid e-mail address at the players’ details page. You can check a preview before sending. In the first panel you can send an email to all players simultaneously. All players will receive a personalized email with a link to their personalized attendance status page. When you press ‘confirm’ in the pop-up, the e-mails will be sent immediately. In the overview of players you will see that the e-mail icon behind their name turns green for all or some players. This indicates that an email has been sent to them. The number in parentheses indicates how many emails you have sent to this player. You can also send an e-mail to a specific player: press the e-mail icon on the right side of the panel of the relevant player. At the top left of the portrait of the players you can see if they have already responded and communicated their status. If there is a gray question mark, then nothing has been heard from this player yet. Personalized email for a player The email players receive contains a link to their unique attendance status page. As long as they do not share this link with others, it can only be visited by themselves. On this page, the player can continue to submit status changes until the end time has expired (closed). Share a link with player(s). In the first panel you can share a status page with all players. This page allows players to adjust their attendance status. Please note, this is a collection page on which all statuses of all players can be found and adjusted. You can click on ‘view web page’ at the top right to visit the page directly. In the list of players you’ll see a share button on the right side of each players’ panel. This allows you to share the personalized attendance status page with the relevant player. If you want to personally ask a player to report his status, choose this. Share anywhere You can share a attendance status page on any social media. Choose from the share options on your phone or simply copy the link and post it in a message. A big advantage is that players don’t need an account with Coach Amigo, so easy does it! Process status updates Pop-up only shows the players with different statuses compared to current statuses. When a player has communicated his status, you will see this in a pop-up when you open the match attendance screen. The pop-up only shows the players with different statuses compared to their current statuses. You can choose to immediately implement the indicated statuses. When a player is placed on not present, you will no longer see him in the line-up and formation of this match. Status changes immediately visible If you prefer, you can ignore the pop-up and manually review and implement the players’ status updates. You can immediately see when a player has indicated a different status thanks to the changed background color of the player panel. Also, the icon that can be seen at the top left of the player’s portrait indicates thee attendance status provided by the player. A red background indicates that the player is ‘absent’, a green background indicates ‘present’. You keep control Player status updates are never automatically applied to match attendance. This way you always remain aware of changes and any adjustments you will have to make in the line-up and formation. Also note the little green panel at the bottom left of the match attendance screen. It indicates how many players you now have available (present) for the match. It gives you a quick insight into whether you might need to look for extra players for this match. Do you want to update all data of a player (or multiple players)? Player information, photo, but also their attendance status? Then retrieve the latest data from your players.

Sharing a team
Icons/Premium/Color Created with Sketch.
Sharing a team Working together is convenient and more fun When you have a Premium subscription with a team, you share this team with others. Those you invite will also be able to use all Premium features. Start sharing Enter the email address of the coach or assistant you want to invite. Preferably you enter an e-mail address with which this person already has an account with Coach Amigo. In this way, this coach keeps all teams he can work with together in the same account. Is this person not yet known to Coach Amigo? Then he will simply create a personal account from your invitation. After you have invited a coach or assistant, the invitation will be visible in the sharing dashboard. Before the invitation is accepted, “waiting” will be displayed here as the current status. You can already change the role: from assistant (default) to manager. The person who is invited can accept via email. Or directly in the ‘Other teams’ menu. The team owner can change the role of the person being shared with at any time. Assistent or Manager Two different roles are available for those you share the team with. Only you, as the owner of the team, can adjust these roles. The role of “Assistant” is the role with the fewest possibilities. The assistant can adapt and play matches set up by you. The role of “Manager” is much more extensive: managing players and full control over the matches will be possible. During the match Do you have a Premium team? Then work together with others during a match! Do you have a Premium team? Then, during a match, multiple coaches can control the entry of match events. The Coach Amigo servers ensure that collaborating coaches remain synchronized with each other as quickly as possible. The synchronization time will take, depending on the quality of your internet connection, about ten to a few tens of seconds.
Cup matches or tournaments
Organise cup matches or tournaments This is how you keep statistics neatly separated When your team is going to play a cup match or participate in a tournament, you can create matches and label them ‘cup’ or ‘friendly’. But there’s a nicer way to keep track of cup matches and tournaments. Below we explain how you can perfectly keep up with these kind of matches by using a new period for them. An additional advantage: in this way all data and statistics can be viewed completely separately. Step 1 Create a new period In the mobile app, go to matches and tap “Periods” in the top right of the screen. You can also call up the periods overview directly from the dashboard. Then press the settings icon at the bottom left of the screen (desktop: press the pencil). Now you can press the red plus at the bottom right. A new period is created. Enter a suitable name for this new period in which you want to accommodate the cup or tournament matches. Press the green check mark to save the period. Stop editing by pressing the settings icon (Mobile: bottom left – Desktop: top left). Activate the newly created period and confirm with the green check mark. Step 2 Matches Add matches manually You can now manually set up new matches (read more about this here), they will be placed in this period. When you use a calendar link for league and cup matches (NL only) you can manually move the cup matches to the newly created period. Check it Coach! When you have created a new period and activated it on device 1, it will not be automatically activated on device 2. You will also have this newly created period activated on device 2. Of course, this also applies to those you’ve shared the team with. (Premium team? Read more about sharing your team here).
Livestream setup
The Livestream What settings are there for you Coach? The Livestream is one of the unique features of Coach Amigo. While you as a coach simply enter events and save them for later viewing, all fans can immediately enjoy a real live report of the match. They immediately sympathize with all the great actions and goals. It is entirely up to you: do you keep the Livestream closed or is the Livestream open to the fans? Open of closed? Activate the Livestream switch and a unique Livestream page for this match will be created. You can now share this Livestream page so fans can follow the match live. Press the icon and check the Livestream yourself. That’s how you see what the audience sees. When everything is ready, you can share the Livestream. You can do that well in advance, or shortly before the match, it doesn’t matter. Here you can determine a number of options about how the Livestream is displayed. It’s fun to see how many fans have watched the Livestream. More every week? Show the formation on Livestream Indicate whether you want to make the formation visible to the visitors of the Livestream. The formation shown corresponds to what you have determined in the match setup. Show substitutions on Livestream All substitutions are visible to you as a coach, but you may not want to share them with the public. Show player images on Livestream You or the club will have to ask for permission to also show the photos of the players on the Livestream. If you do not want to show photos, fans will see shirt with the players number. Add a note Here you can post a message addressed to the visitors of the Livestream. If you want to make a note but not show it to the fans, place a note at the bottom of the match overview. Options icons What are those little icons telling you? In the match overview you will see three small icons next to the button with which you can enter the settings page of the Livestream. These 3 icons indicate which Livestream settings you have chosen: show formation, show portraits and show substitutions. Where green indicates that you have enabled this and gray of course indicates that it is not shown on the Livestream.
Start a new season: pick your route
Start a new season Are you starting with the same team or a new team? When you want to start a new season, the first question is: will you start with a new team (for example under11 instead of under9) or will you start a new season with the same team? When you start with a new team, you simply create one and continue with that. And if you continue to work with the same team, you can opt for simply creating a new period. Choose the route that applies to you below and discover how to approach it! New season with the same team You continue to coach the same team: under 15 will also remain under 15 next year. Follow the explainer on how to start a new season using a new period. New season: same team Start with a new team You start next season with a new team. under 15 becomes under 17 for example. Or you get an extra team under your wings. Go ahead and start setting up a new team! Archive and delete matches
Archive and delete matches The match overview By pressing the ‘matches’ button you will get an overview of all the matches your team has played and still has to play. Switch between ‘matches’ and ‘archived’ At the top of the list of matches you’ll find the buttons ‘matches’ and ‘archived’. Press ‘archived’ to see the list of archived matches. Archived matches still count in the statistics of the current period. By archiving matches you keep the list of matches more organized. The matches played are shown first. Initially you will see 3, press ‘show all’ to see the full list of matches played. The numbers in parentheses indicate how many matches this section contains. Archive a match You can archive a match by swiping your finger to the left on the match banner. The ‘archive’ button will now appear. When you press this now, the match will be moved to the list of archived matches. The match still counts in the statistics. By the way, you can immediately delete a match that has not yet been played! Delete a match A match can only be deleted when it is archived. At the top of the screen, switch to the list of archived matches. Swipe your finger left on the match you want to delete. Now the buttons ‘delete’ and ‘unarchive’ appear. Press ‘delete’ and the match will disappear forever. It will no longer count in the statistics. You can also send a match back to the match overview by pressing ‘remove from archive’. Match status (cloud) You can see the status of a match on the servers by the color of the little cloud. Green means that the match is fully in sync with our servers. Blue indicates that the match is in sync, but that a change from the server has come through (so you can see at a glance which matches have been modified). A gray cloud means that the match is only local and has not yet been synchronized with the servers. Periods It is practical and easy to collect matches in ‘periods’, such as a new season or a tournament. Thanks to the use of periods, you keep an overview and you can view statistics separately. Read more about periods here.

Press the green tick to save the match and return to the match overview
Setup substitution management before the match
Setup substitution management before the match If you want to divide playing time (evenly), you can use Coach Amigo’s unique substitution management. It offers you a lot of structure, insight and convenience: Coach Amigo will also show you the planned substitutions during the match. Read on to learn all about the Coach Amigo substitution management principles. This way you can set up a balanced substitution schedule for your team before the match. The use of substitution management is optional: by default it is turned off and you apply subs by dragging players over each other during the match. Setup Substitution management Activate Substitution Management Choose number of Player Blocks If you want to organize the match with substitution management, you’ll have to set this up in advance. First enable the switch (it is disabled by default when you start with Coach Amigo). Then you choose the number of player blocks per match part. Player Blocks and Substitution moments Example with 2 player blocks per match part. This match consists of 3 parts, thus creating 6 player blocks. A player block indicates who is playing in a specific time slot. The first player block therefore contains the starting line-up. During the first substitution moment, the second player block is brought in. This results in one or more substitution(s). These substitution(s) are shown in a clear overview during the match. Player blocks setup Example with 3 player blocks (over 2 match parts / 2 halves) Example with 2 player blocks (over 3 match parts / 3 halves) An important choice is the number of player blocks that fit your substitution needs. It is up to you to decide how often you would like substitutions to take place and at what interval. Experiment when setting up a match to find out. Divide play time When setting up a match, divide your playing time among the players by allocating them playing time in player blocks (At ‘line-up’: click on a circle behind the player in the player block, this changes into a football). The gray number in the player information bar indicates how many minutes of play the player has already been awarded. Is the playing time distribution as wished? Then continue to ‘Formation’. Playing minutes are visible in the player info panel. Press a circle to assign or remove play time. Set up formation(s) After you have divided playing time, you can place each player block in the desired formation. In this way, each player block becomes a complete line-up: it includes which players are on the pitch and in which formation you like to see them play. Direct the players in the correct formation by going through the player blocks at the bottom of the screen one by one. Adjust the formation manually or by using the formation preset menu. You’re ready for the match! Read about substitution management during the match here.
Subs management during match
Substitution Management assistance during the match Have you enabled and set up substitution management for the match? Then Coach Amigo will show you all planned substitutions during the match.
